Normally, Azureus will find JRE on its own if it's in the PATH. However, the README file states:
"If you have the Java JRE installed somewhere unusual (or not in your PATH), use the JAVA_PROGRAM_DIR option in the script."
If you did this earlier and then upgraded JRE, you will need to update the "azureus" script. Tip: Maybe the upgrade added the JRE to the PATH, so try commenting out JAVA_PROGRAM_DIR
