Drivers for this printer are available for Win95/98 and ME only.

According to Canon helpdesk, here's how to get the unit working as a printer only:

1. Connect the C50 to the PC
2. Install it using the Canon BJC-4200 driver
3. On the printer, do the following:
* Press "function"
* Press "0"
* Press ">" (display now shows "#4 DOS PRINTING")
* Press "Start" (display now shows "ON")
* Press "Start" again (display now shows "Printer mode")

4. The unit is now in printer mode. To cancel printer mode:
* Press "function"
* Press "0"
* Press ">" (display now shows "#4 DOS PRINTING")
* Press "Start" (display now shows "ON")
* Press ">" until the display shows "OFF"
* Press "Start" again to put the unit in normal mode.

Fax and scanner mode will not work under NT4, Win2K or WinXP.
